What are the requirements for attending World Heavy Oil Congress?
World Heavy Oil Congress is not open to the general public. You must be part of the oil & gas industry in order to attend the show. You must complete online registration in order to receive a badge for the show. If you would like to register onsite, a business card or other industry credentials must be presented.

Present your email confirmation to the registration desks located in Hall D or Palomino Rooms, along with photo I.D. to collect your badge.

Can I share my name badge with someone?
No – each individual registration is treated as such and badges are not to be shared.

We recommend business or business casual attire.

How do I get information about my exhibition booth?

I have submitted an abstract how can I make a change to it?
Simply email [email protected] with details of any changes. Please do not resubmit your abstract via the online form.

Can I bring a child to the show? Is there an age restriction?
World Heavy Oil Congress is open to trade only. No one under the age of 16 (including infants) will be admitted.

How can I receive a Visa Invitation letter?
Attendee Visa Invitation letters are distributed through World Heavy Oil Congress registration system. In order to receive a Visa letter, you will need to complete the entire registration process. Visa letter will be automatically generated and available for download once your registration is confirmed.

If you are traveling from Venezuela, please ensure that you obtain your travel documents early so that you can meet governmental regulations.

I have pre-registered. When will I receive my badge?
Badges for World Heavy Oil Congress can be picked up at the venue (they will not be mailed out). Confirmed registrants will receive a verification email with a barcode when their registration is finalized. Registrants must present their confirmation e-mail (printed or on a mobile screen) at the On-site Registration Area where your barcode will be scanned to receive your printed badge and badge holder.

What is the cancellation policy?
All registration fees & tickets are non-refundable.

What policies should I be aware of?
dmg :: events reserves the right to change the content, timing, and venue. If for any reason outside the control of dmg :: events, the venue changes, or the exhibition is cancelled due to an act of terrorism or extreme weather conditions or industrial action, dmg :: events shall endeavour to reschedule but the applicant hereby indemnifies and holds harmless from and against any and all costs, damages and expenses, including attorney fees, which are incurred by the applicant. Additionally, dmg :: events reserves the right to decline registration of any applicant.
